Waikato Sunrise is Hamilton’s breakfast Rotary club. Starting Friday’s with a breakfast meeting at the Ferrybank Lounge, overlooking the beautiful Waikato River, leaves everyone energised for the day ahead.
Waikato Sunrise has a vibrant, youthful membership of professional men and women who focus on community contribution – locally, nationally and internationally – with a particular interest in youth development.

The inaugural Combined Rotary Clubs of Hamilton Police Person of the Year awardLexlei Taylor is this years recipient, presented December 9th at the Waikato District Police Day Parade. The award was presented by President Les Christopher of Te Rapa Rotary, to Lexlei Taylor from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Hamilton (BBBS) – a programme of Taiohi Toa Trust. BBBS is one of the community organisations that Waikato Sunrise has supported, giving funding and a car in recent years, in support of their outstanding work with youth in our community.
