Rotary Foundation
As Rotary’s Charitable arm, the objective of The Rotary Foundation (TRF) is the achievement of world understanding and peace through international humanitarian and education programs. The Foundation’s funds come from Rotary Club contributions, bequests, and personal giving by Rotarians and others.

The Rotary Foundation has partnered many significant projects around the world. For instance, with a US$300,000 grant from The Rotary Foundation, the Rotary clubs of Calcutta Metropolitan, West Bengal in India, and Medicine Hat in Alberta Canada, brought health care, education, sanitation, clean water, vocational training, and microcredit loans to more than 50,000 villagers in rural India.
