Funding our Projects and Programmes
The Rotary Club of Waikato Sunrise raises significant funds each year for charitable purposes.
Handing over cheque
During 2010/11 Rotary year (July to June), Waikato Sunrise contributed over $100,000 in to community through direct donations and sponsorships, joint ventures, and third party fund raising.
In addition, a number of members contributed their time and talents – Rotary vocational service – to various projects and causes.
These efforts touched local, national and international communities, supporting projects that fulfill the vision of Rotary International.
Montana Catering
Through a partnership with Montana Catering, Waikato Sunrise members and Friends of Rotary assist with the hospitality tents at local Rugby games, the V8′s, and other major events.

Circus Quirkus
Through a partnership with International Entertainment, Waikato Sunrise raises funds for charitable purposes through the sale of tickets to Circus Quirkus – a human circus performed annually at Founders Theatre in Hamilton. International Entertainment Telemarketers contact Waikato businesses on behalf of Waikato Sunrise to promote the sale of tickets, which are then gifted to under priviledged and special needs people in the wider Hamilton community.
Volunteering
Rotary makes a difference in community, and we need all the help we can get for fund raising and active service projects.
