District 9930 RAVE Photography Competition
Rotarians – Active, Visible, Engaged
Terms and conditions
Photographs submitted for this competition must illustrate Rotarians active, visible and engaged in the community.
Photographs must be taken between 1 October 2011 and 31 March April 2012 and need be received by close of business on Friday 13th April 2012.
All photographs submitted must be the entrants’ own work (four way test applies). Individual Rotarians can submit no more than five photographs each.
All contestants must be current Rotarians from D9930, however subjects in the photos need not all be Rotarians – in fact it would be great to see non-Rotarians involved in the RAVE.
Entries will be received only by email to rkirkman9930@vodafone.co.nz with ‘RAVE 2011-2012’ in the subject line.
Digital photographs must be high quality (not compressed) to be accepted and must be in JPEG format. Photographs may be digitally enhanced but where they are the original photo must also be sent with the entry.
Photographs should be accompanied by a short description explaining the circumstances in the photo – club, project /activity, location, people, date etc.
All entries become the property of D9930 and may be used for publicity purposes including being displayed on the D9930 website and at the 2012 District Conference.
D9930 accepts no responsibility for entries not received.
Emailed entries must include the entrants name, address, telephone number, email address and club, and be accompanied by a statement that the entrant agrees with these terms and conditions.
The 2011-12 judging panel will consist of the District Governor, the Conference Chair, the Public Image Chair, the DGs Newsletter Editor and a professional photographer. Decisions of the judging panel will be final.
Winning photographs will be announced at District 9930 Conference 19-20 May 2012
